Isle of Wight Pottery Terms and Conditions

1. Cancellation and Rescheduling:

  • Customers may cancel or reschedule their pottery class booking up to 3 days before the scheduled start time.

  • All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted via email to isleofwightpottery@gmail.com. Late requests may not be accommodated.

  • Pottery weekend courses are different to the above. They can be canceled or rescheduled up to 14 days before their scheduled start time. For cancellations a £50 admin fee will be subtracted from the amount paid. Payment in full is required for cancellations within 14 days of the scheduled start time.

2. Refund Policy:

  • Cancellations made within the allowed window (3 days prior) will receive a full refund.

  • No refunds for late cancellations (less than 3 days before) or no-shows.

3. Rescheduling:

  • We will make efforts to accommodate rescheduling based on class availability.

4. Instructor Cancellations:

  • In the rare event of unforeseen circumstances necessitating class cancellation (e.g., instructor unavailability), we will offer refunds or rescheduling at the customer's discretion.

5. Weather-Related Cancellations:

  • Classes canceled due to weather or unforeseen factors will be rescheduled or refunded.

6. Pottery Quality Disclaimer:

  • Pottery is a skilled and sometimes volatile process. We cannot guarantee the quality or structural integrity of finished pieces. Variations in glaze, shape, and color may occur. Fragile pottery may break during or after firing. We aim to provide the best possible outcome but cannot guarantee perfection.

7. Safety and Conduct:

  • Customers must follow safety guidelines and instructions provided by our instructors during classes.

  • Inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without refund.

8. Liability:

  • Isle of Wight Pottery is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses during or after the class, including but not limited to personal injuries, damaged personal property, or unsatisfactory pottery results.

9. Intellectual Property:

  • All class materials, designs, and intellectual property remain the property of Isle of Wight Pottery and cannot be used for commercial purposes without written consent.

10. Photography and Promotion:

  • We may photograph classes for promotional purposes. Customers who do not wish to be photographed must inform us in advance.

11. Policy Updates:

  • These terms and conditions are subject to change. It is the customer's responsibility to review the latest policies before booking.

12. Pottery collection

  • If you do not collect your pottery, or arrange for postage, after 6 months we will have to dispose of it due to storage space.
