Unlike traditional pottery painting, in our classes you'll start with clay and make your own piece using hand-building techniques, formers and tools and even the potters wheel. We'll guide you step by step, so you can create something you're proud of — whether that's a plate, bowl, mug or something completely unique.

Once you're happy with your piece, you'll decorate it with our coloured slips, adding patterns, drawings or whatever inspires you. If you wish to return and work on your pottery further we can bisque fire your work at which point you can choose from a large selection of underglazes and glazes. This means that you can finish your work in one session, or hone your skills further, the choice is yours!
